Morgan was my literacy coach for two years at a local elementary school. In that time, she worked one-on-one with me to set up small group instruction for my class as well as discuss my students’ literacy abilities by looking over the data and the individual needs of students. Together, Morgan and I would collaborate on lesson planning as well as training on newly developed literacy curriculums. Morgan also modeled small group instruction lessons in my classroom as well as observed my teaching and provided helpful feedback. Morgan is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Without her help, support and guidance, I wouldn’t have as much confidence in small group instruction as I do now.

I cannot say enough good things about having Morgan as my former Literacy Coach. She is knowledgeable in the implementation of many reading curriculums and adaptive to the needs of each individual learner with whom she works. Morgan is well versed in child development and the scope and sequence of reading instruction which she uses to support learners of all levels. Especially those with learning variations and those who are not native English speakers. In addition, she provided tangible resources for me to use in my classroom as well as, providing clear rationale behind using various reading curriculums.
